The IDG framework is a global initiative co-created by over 1,000 scientists, experts, and HR and sustainability professionals. It is a not-for-profit and open-source initiative that started in 2021 and has grown exponentially.
Its mission is to foster inner development as a catalyst for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 and creating a sustainable future.
IDG collaborates with leading researchers and practitioners, including renowned organizations such as IMD, Google, and IKEA to drive meaningful change. NOCA is also collaborating with IDG to help build a bridge between our members and their growing global community to support sustainable development in our member organizations.
Jan Arthem Henriksson, Executive Director of the Inner Development Goals Initiative, will take us through the following:

Jan is one of the founders of Self Leaders – A Nordic leadership consultancy, and Relate – a relationship app. His organizations have taken 85.000+ people on developmental journeys with scientifically proven results.
He is a senior faculty member at Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education, working with top management in global organizations such as IKEA and Ericsson, academic institutions and governments.
Today, Jan is leading the Inner Development Goals initiative and is a board member of Ekskaret Foundation.
Åsa Rexare Simonsen, Business Transformation Manager, Development & Innovation at IKEA
Åsa is here to do work that makes a difference. She has 20+ years of experience from management assignments, mostly in global contexts, and she is a catalyst and leader of transformation at heart.
In her leadership, she draws on her experience from strategic communication, business and strategy development, leadership development and learning, paired with long term yoga practice and education of yoga teachers.
Åsa is a systems thinker with a passion for complexity, facilitating creative problem solving and empowering collective intelligence in diverse teams. Over the past few years, she has been integrating the IDGs into several leadership development processes and is currently exploring an emerging framework for transformation.
